9TH MARCH 2020

Our March Lates explores the role of AI in the art world and its impact on lifestyles of the future. Wander through the galleries and explore a packed programme of artists and start-ups pushing the boundaries of digital innovation-from iPad artistry to holograms, virtual galleries to robot portraits.”

It was was a pleasure to provide two workshops for the public with Sarah Reynolds, Associate Director and Emily Snow about how I create my digital prints. I walked into the gallery space and saw a selection of them beautifully hung and lit. Having the pictures there created a more revealing experience for the workshop participants and for those exploring the various galleries.

I demonstrated on a large screen how I create my pictures and how accessible art is on your phone or your iPad. One of greatest advantages is being able to keep as many edits as you wish as well as being able to move back and forth between drawing, colouring and editing. The experience has encouraged me to be far more experimental and I’m fascinated to see the influence digital art will have on my oil painting on canvass.

Thank you to Nic McElhatton my gallery owner and Jonathan Feroze my business advisor who joined us for an exceptional evening at Christie’s during which we also sold some of the limited edition prints!
